The value of information: It's really about understanding. Strong communication with a broad cross-section of individuals about their needs, and sharing information among divergent users and stakeholders, not only smoothed the staging of this intricate project, but yielded substantial discoveries and savings. Most notably, a previously perceived interdependency (“this must happen first”) turned out to be false, providing significant extra time in the schedule, reducing the overlap of construction trades, and not affecting users and occupants.
