Rogue Valley Medical Center

As our work with Asante Health Systems began, Rogue Valley Medical Center already existed as a 200-bed hospital. The first phase of work added almost 300,000-square-feet of new construction to the facility, as well as 60,000-square-feet of renovation. The existing central circulation ‘‘spine’’ of the hospital was extended in the new addition. This extension incorporated a new main lobby with seating areas and an opening to the dining room below.

Clear way finding was achieved by organizing new departmental waiting areas around this lobby. The new five-story bed tower replaced substandard inpatient wings, provided a prominent element to enhance the hospital’s identity and was designed to maximize flexibility and efficiency for patient, staff and material flow.

Other departments in phase one include emergency, surgery, ICU, diagnostic imaging, dietary services, pharmacy and a new parking structure and helipad. Construction was phased to allow continuous operation of all hospital departments and minimize disruption.

Provided full PM/CM services for renovation & new construction. Work included Lobbey, ED, ICU, 5-story inpatient tower, imaging, dietary & pharmacy.
