Mike S. Day

Mike Day is an outstanding leader with more than 23 years of experience as a Construction Manager and Owner Representative, including ten years as a Shareholder and Senior Project Manager with one of the Pacific Northwest's leading general contractors. Mike founded his own firm in 2000, building on his personal experience and focus as a team leader skilled in collaborative and cohesive relationships.

Mike is experienced with a wide range of projects in the public and private sectors totaling nearly a billion dollars in construction value, with a special focus on complex health care and college/university projects. Mike's seasoned expertise spans a variety of contract formats, including negotiated GMP, CM/GC, and design-build. With his construction experience, Mike offers deep knowledge of the building and design process with special emphasis on design constructability, value engineering, estimating, scheduling, budget tracking, and construction administration.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Washington, and has completed graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering and Design. He is a frequent speaker on topics including Partnering, Project Management, and Effective Team Communications.
