Oregon State Capitol Pre-Design Planning Phase
DAY CPM was chosen by the Oregon Legislative Administration to provide professional consultant services assisting the agency with the Pre-Design Planning Phase of the Capitol Master Plan. DAY led the Legislature through the exemption process for its first Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method on a State of Oregon project. As an outcome of the Pre-Design Planning Phase, DAY created the Development Plan and Operations Manual (DPOM) as the foundational working tool using the IPD method for this project. The DPOM is designed to serve the Owner and Owner’s Representative, Architect, Engineers, and CM/GC contractor through the design, seismic upgrades and operational renovations planned for the historic Oregon State Capitol.
