Swedish - Issaquah Medical Campus
DAY CPM provided a complete menu of project management services for Swedish-Issaquah Medical Center, including securing medical equipment as well as furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E). Additionally, coordination of IT systems procurement, ongoing budget management and cost estimation were all part of DAY’s scope of work.
The full-service 630,000 square feet campus is home to a five-story hospital supporting several primary and specialty care clinics, a full-service emergency department, a Swedish Cancer Institute facility and accompanying pharmacy, laboratory and imaging center. The 175-inpatient bed facility also includes a “mini” shopping area with eight retail stores, a Starbucks coffee shop and a full-service restaurant/cafeteria.
The Swedish-Issaquah campus features full integration of advanced technology throughout its facility. The environmentally friendly design incorporates many components to lighten its impact on the environment. For example, the landscape uses native plants and a 16,000 square foot green roof to minimize water requirements. The interior makes extensive use of recycled wood products and the exterior includes brick and energy efficient windows.
